In the year 1986 Master Woodgate decided he needed a hobby. As he thought about his need for pasture trimming, his love of animals and his desire for exercise, he decided
raising goats, especially Mohair Goats would fulfill his need.
Master Woodgate, soon to be Farmer Woodgate, purchased two does the first year and a doe and buck the next year. As nature
would have it, little ones were added to the flock. |
 As the flock multiplied and the fleece began to
accumulate, he thought, wouldn't it be wonderful to take the raw fleece, process it into homespun yarn and make saleable products. |
Thus began the tale of Fine Fibers...
